Nickes Odd Outdoor Adventures

The long term target for this outdoor adventure is to cover Finland from Head to Toe using only wind and muscle power. The objective is to complete the adventure using an odd combination of my favourite sports. The purpose is also to enjoy every step of the way and experience the extraordinary variety the Finnish nature has to offer. Lately I have taken up an Wilderness guide education program called ViGu. Comments: We start off with the kites pulling us, but due to the unreliable ice conditions and the strong wind we decide to wrap the kites and pull them ourselves for a change. We run into open water in some straits and we pass them over land. We meet some fishermen in Sundom archipelago laying nets under the ice. A good 10 m/s tailwind gives us a comfortable ride even without any sails!
