Nickes Odd Outdoor Adventures

The long term target for this outdoor adventure is to cover Finland from Head to Toe using only wind and muscle power. The objective is to complete the adventure using an odd combination of my favourite sports. The purpose is also to enjoy every step of the way and experience the extraordinary variety the Finnish nature has to offer. Lately I have taken up an Wilderness guide education program called ViGu. Jerisjärvi - Äkäsjärvi 3-4.8.2009

We continue our journey through Finland. This time we are rowing 12km across lake Jerisjärvi in Muonio county to connect with the starting point of our previous kayaking tour. Relaxing rowing with beatiful weather! Day two we hike through the forest over the watershed to reach Äkäsjärvi in Muotkavaara. After that we head back the same way. But now we are allowed to use our small outboard engine. Nice cruising!
