Nickes Odd Outdoor Adventures

The long term target for this outdoor adventure is to cover Finland from Head to Toe using only wind and muscle power. The objective is to complete the adventure using an odd combination of my favourite sports. The purpose is also to enjoy every step of the way and experience the extraordinary variety the Finnish nature has to offer. Lately I have taken up an Wilderness guide education program called ViGu. Comments: This was the first longer ice windsurfing tour I accomplished solo. I had been planning and preparing for the tour for over ten years. That's a lot for a one day tour, you could argue. Though an accomplishment in itself it took me zero kilometres on my west coast project. However, it created the mental foundation for the project: Long distance windsurfing is possible -and FUN.
